Casey moved to Lake Oconee in 2014, where he found his wife, Morgan, a forever home, and adopted four dogs: Kota, Skye, Todd, and Milo. With an extensive background in the culinary world, he has most recently worked with Wolfgang Puck and several local luxury resorts. During the pandemic, he realized he could share his culinary talents with the community, leading to the creation of The Burch (a.k.a. @burchthis on social media).

The brand initially began as a small business, offering provisional sales and catering services that specialized in creating seasoning & hot sauces. By 2021, it had expanded into a full-time private chef experience in the Lake Oconee area. Fast forward to May 2022, The Burch evolved into a full-service food truck located in Greensboro, GA.

As we jumped into 2023, Casey and his friend and business partner, Jon, launched an upscale dining and craft cocktail restaurant called Table at the Lake, located at 1010 Cowles Clinic Way. Skip over to 2025, Casey, Morgan, Jon, and Geoff came together to launch an exciting summer initiative: The Burch x Boathouse. Many of you may already be familiar with The Boathouse at Harbor Club, which boasts stunning lake views and a fantastic building for serving food and beverages. The Burch has now expanded beyond its food truck window and has taken over this venue, offering a full bar, as well as lunch and dinner menus.
